GUYS! Look!! It’s so clean, so easy, so pretty! TMC has a whole new face! I’m so excited about it and a little nervous. Is it fancy enough? Is it too simple? Is it missing something that in my excitement I totally missed? I really want to hear what you think of this new look! It’s all thanks to Aubrey Kinch on her design and Chelsea from Olive & Ivy for working on the backend. It all came together beautifully and without a hitch.
Now on to this week’s Whatcha Wearing Wednesday!
This gorgeous cover of Kristen Wiig on the cover of Elle came to my mailbox last week and I squealed. First, I love her. Second, EVERYTHING! That outfit is right in my comfort zone and it is pre-fall perfection. I can see wearing it to so much from effortless daily style as a work at home mother to date night and weekend wear. Just add a few different touches with shoes and accessories and BAM! it works at my car events too. I love everything about it. Including the fact that I have all the pieces already.
I was so ready to style it up a few ways for you too. I swear! Then I got elbow-deep in painting TD’s new loft bed. It is one immense piece of furniture set that comes in four pieces. I have one week to get it done while the house is quiet with only two kids and TD can rotate between their rooms while hers is being painted and the furniture is being redone. It’s a big job. The walls are now sanded and I’m mixing the paint color myself. Needless to say, it doesn’t give me a lot of time to take pictures of outfits. Or anything else.
My question is this one. What shoes would you wear with this look? I can see adding black sneakers, even studded ones, for casual weekend or daily mom wear but beyond that I’m stuck. Thoughts?
This is the perfect fall outfit! I would wear my converse with this for everyday or black booties for going out.

Ha! Thanks Gina! I got so excited and didn’t mention this in the post but when I saw the magazine cover with her short hair I got giddy because it’s my cut. But no, I get told I look like the Betty Draper character from Mad Men a lot. 🙂

Happy Thursday! (ok, I came yesterday but it was one of THOSE days!). Anways. I ADORE the new layout – I love simple. It’s so clean. Sigh. My hearts still in summer my minds about to move on to fall. I need to find a fitted leather jacket asap. It’s always on my list and I NEVER find one that I adore and that fits just right. Maybe this will be the year!
Love this gorgeous, fresh and clean new design on the blog. It is much easier navigating as well. That is the perfect Fall Outfit and Kristin looks great with the shorter do. I would try some tan suede booties or some leopard slip-ons with it. Also for a dressy feel, patent leather black pumps would seal the deal.
