2016 Work and Life Balance

I'm not one to make resolutions when the clock strikes twelve on New Year's Eve.  No, I prefer to step back a week or so later and reassess what I'm doing, think about where I want to go and try not to freak myself out too much. It's creating a work and life balance and knowing that sometimes things get lopsided but you can always come back to middle ground. 4th of July Style Inspiration

Looking for something beyond the red, white and blue that is so prevalent this week?   Sandy, from Fashnboucou, and my guest blogger today offers up a few looks that will really set you apart this holiday. You can dress in patriotic spirit without being so literal. Ditch the cliché red, white and blue, and add some color and prints to your look this 4th of July. Mix the trio of hues with flirty prints and textures, like florals and lace. Make red, white, and blue work together by throwing in a fourth hue and adding a vintage-y mix of prints. I paired a colorful and flirty midi skirt by Saloni with a feminine daisy lace cami. Mixing prints as I did with the skirt and GoJane quilted clutch keep your look unfussy and cool. The neutral accessories won't distract from the bold color … [Read more...]
