Whatcha Wearing Wednesday: Stripes and Leopard for Spring

Stripes and leopard. It's all about mixing prints and patterns and it isn't as hard as you think. Spring is a great time to experiment. Think about matching a floral pencil skirt with a stripe shirt. Still not sure? Here's an easier way. Start with neutral colors like black, white and navy if you are feeling skittish and work from there. I took my neutral leopard heels and paired them with my tried and true black ankle pants and a new striped shirt I picked up from J.Crew Factory. The stripe shirt gets and update with the ruffle added to the sleeve. Ruffles are really big this spring. Celebrate the Little Things

The Fourth of July is almost here and it is time to celebrate the little things! Like cute striped dresses from my most recent Trunk Club box or the fact that I think the fog of illness I've been dealing with most of this month has finally lifted.  That right there, is REALLY a reason to celebrate. This Halogen dress was so spot on that I squealed the minute I opened the giant Trunk Club box and laid eyes on it. All About the Stripes

This week it is all about the Fourth.  Don't hate me.  I'm packing up kids for camp, getting us ready for the holiday and I cannot stop wearing different versions of the stars and stripes.  OK, mostly stripes. #cantstopwontstop. TD, aka my clone, decided to join in with her matching sunglasses and new dress. Can we talk about how she wears those sunnies and suddenly looks grown up.  It kills me. Then The Comedian joined in the with her version.
