This morning as I sat outside working through my devotions I noticed that the light has already begun to change. Golden leaves are falling from the Tulip Poplar trees in my yard. Already. Fall is more than a month away but the subtle changes are in the air. Minutes later my friend showed off her newest purchase for fall in her FB Stories. Labor Day Transitions
Smile. Labor day weekend was wonderful, wasn't it? It felt full of transitions and golden sunshine, soft breezes and the ability to wear both jeans and a swimsuit all the in the same day. I love that. It was only after I got to the restaurant I realized I was in head to toe J.Crew. This is what happens when they have a 50% OFF sale. I snapped some quick pics before I met two of my friends for a leisurely Labor day brunch on Monday. Later a waitress would spill a pot of coffee all over this bag. Jeans and flats season! I’m Obsessed with Fall
It's no secret that I'm obsessed with fall (we are not even going to kid ourselves and put a "kind of obsessed" in there). I mean, I walk outside my front door and start singing, "It's the most WONDERFUL time of the year...." on a daily basis and I don't even drink SBUX PSL's. Fall makes me want to craft and I'm not crafty. It makes me want to fill the house with baked goods and pass them out to friends and it makes me want to SHOP! Cozy knits, fall boots and booties, ponchos, sweater dresses and new jeans! I WANT IT ALL! It's like I have to get my own back to school shopping in for myself. Which makes me think of school.
