Holiday Style with Garnet Hill

Winter is settling in here in the DC Metro area and that means it is time for more holiday style.  This time courtesy of Garnet Hill and special group of ladies creating some gorgeous looks called-

Take a look at Julie from Mom Fabulous and her take on ‘Moms Do Holiday Style’.

Now, let’s talk about how I worked with Garnet Hill on my own version of Moms Do Holiday Style. I created three looks based on two pieces from their Holiday Dressing collection.

Look One

This outfit combines both items the Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater in ‘Glacier’ and the Prima Tulle Skirt. It’s a festive party look that can then be broken down separately to create many other outfits through the winter.

Look Two

Mixing up textures for a dose of glamour.

Adding in vintage rhinestone pins from my grandmother for some sparkle and shine.

I adore the details of this Prima Tulle Skirt.  It’s soft, has some swish to it and looks elegant with a basic T-shirt or a sweater.  I would also mix it up with a button down with french cuffs.

I added this faux fur snood for warmth.

Look Three

Perfect for after work party or hosting at home.

I paired the Cashmere Turtleneck with Velvet Skinny Pants and basic black pumps.  To add a dash of holiday style I added an over-sized cocktail ring and silver clutch.

I could use a soft cashmere turtleneck. I love how all these outfits have festive elements of Holiday glam. I prefer the tulle skirt with the green top or the turtleneck. Adding the brooches on the waist of the skirt was brilliant. But another option is layering crystal bracelets and a crystal necklace like you did on the first look, Vicki.
