Ah, the WAPA Rally. Quite possibly my favorite event of the year with this group. If you are new here, WAPA stands for Washington Automotive Press Association, and I am a member. Every October we gather together to spend the day driving cars from many automotive makers and it is ridiculously fun and informative.
This year the WAPA Rally was no exception as it was held in Kent Island, Maryland. Just off the Bay Bridge the views were stunning and provided gorgeous backdrops for car photos and plenty of scenic drives.
What did I love at this year’s WAPA Rally?

I love the ‘Magneto Black’ paint on the 2016 Nissan Rogue. Makes me feel ready for Star Wars story ‘Rogue One’ on December 16. Way more storage space than I anticipated with its 70 ft. of cargo space and the Nissan Divide-N-Hide storage solution. Makes it a viable option for many families.

My first drive of the day and while the symphony music played on the stereo I completely felt all the things stated in the video below.

What surprised me at WAPA Rally this year?
The Rolls Royce Dawn and not because who can believe how beautiful it is even in a burnt orange color but more surprising was just how comfortable I felt in it. No, I’m not talking about comfortable driving, it totally is that, I’m talking about how it felt like we were made for each other. #Iwouldputmydobermaninit no questions asked.
Until next time WAPA Rally. See you next year!
There are more car features being added to The Mummy Chronicles over the next few months. I’ll be adding videos about car safety, taking car of your vehicle and answering questions you might have about buying a new or used car for you or your family. Feel free to ask me at veamason AT gmail DOT com.
