Working For It

There comes a time before every race that I know I have to bite the bullet and actually run the full distance of the race. A practice run, really.  Even if I know I have accumulated those miles before or I’ve come just a mile under I still have to physically run that full distance to get my head in the right place.

How I feel mid-run.

While I wanted to wear this cute tank I picked up this winter the weather still wasn’t ready for it.  Maybe spring will really be sprung from the evil clutches of Old Man Winter by this weekend as I start to taper off in my mileage.

The instant I saw this tank I had to have it.  I think my heart rate actually accelerated.  It is exactly what H and I think on a daily basis as we are working towards our goal of getting our business running as a full-time gig for him and a way to change the lives of our little family unit.  Can you say financial freedom and doing what you love so waking up each day isn’t a grind?  We are all about WORKING FOR IT.  HARD.  EVERY. DAMN. DAY.  #thehustleisreal and so is the struggle sometimes but that’s what makes it all worth while in the end and even along the way, right?  I really believe that.  SO, this tank motivates me more than most of the ones in my dresser.

    haha that bane meme is everything! totally how I feel any time I run. Not my forte, but I do it anyway! lol. love the workout picks!!!

      Exactly. Mile 7 was the worst with a ton of hills and then I saw my husband’s face (he’s a realtor and his sign was up in a yard with his face on it.) and it made me smile and pushed me forward until I could get over the hill.

    Great tank! I am doing my 10 mile run this weekend and the hardest part is just getting started. Once I am running, I really do try to forget the distance and try and enjoy myself. Great job!

      Hope that 10 miles was better than expected! My six on Sunday was terrible but it was done!
