The blogger interview series is something new I’m doing over here at TMC.  I love to find new blogs and get to know a person (as much as you can via curated lifestyle posts) and find new ways to style my clothes and home as well as sometimes making a new friend.  So, CHEERS to our first interview in what I hope will be a great series!

Allow me to introduce, Dana from Pink Champagne Problems!

1. First off, why and when did you create your blog, Pink Champagne Problems?                                                               ​I created Pink Champagne Problems in October 2012 – I was selected to become an Admissions Blogger for my university. When it came time to think of a name, I was pretty stumped. Until one night I was eating in Shake Shack with some friends and the idea just clicked… Pink Champagne Problems was officially born. Although I was supposed to write about being a student at my university, it quickly turned into a fashion blog. Now, post-grad, Pink Champagne Problems is about me navigating through the fashion industry with a glass of champagne in hand!​

2. What’s the hardest part about keeping your blog?                                                                                                             ​Although I love everything about Pink Champagne Problems, it’s not my career – by day, I’m a Merchandiser at Perry Ellis Menswear. So for me, it’s pretty tough scheduling posts, creating content, shooting looks, maintaining deadlines with brands, and being consistent on social media. The good thing is, I love this so much, so it’s actually just a lot of fun…just not enough hours in the day 😉

3. What is your favorite piece in your closet?
​UGH! Toughest question ever. I’m a bit of a shopaholic, so any new piece I buy is automatically a new favorite. But if I needed to choose, I’d have to say my J.Crew ​Schoolboy blazers are an absolute staple for me. I wear them all-year round and they’re the perfect addition to any look.
4. Share something with readers that they wouldn’t normally know about you?
​I’m a HUGE hockey fan. I don’t write much about it on my blog, but yeah I am a hockey fanatic. I know more about hockey than most people would think….which is always fun 😉 And yes, I’m the crazy lunatic screaming at games.​

5. You’ve started the 101 Things in 1001 Days Challenge– what’s next on the list?
You know, I haven’t thought that far into it! ​Two things I think I want to do next are start a candle collection and have brunch at The Plaza.
6. We are coming into the fall season, what must-have item are you coveting?  Is there a trend you are really excited about?
​If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I LOVE Fall because I get to do a ton of layering. I’m ALL about the slouchy blazer, and Banana Republic has some great options right now that has me itching to wear Fall clothes.​
​As far as trends go, I’m excited for three of them: fur, Breton stripes, and quilted (outerwear) pieces!
