Feeling Fall Trends

Are you ready? Are you ready to transition into the fall season? I think I might be on the verge and here’s why. Between the “shopping diet” I put myself on, the continuous reading of fashion magazines by the pool the last few weeks and the discovery of a new cash back site, Splender; I’m feeling these fall trends.

And since that so-called shopping ban was over I was now free to shop and explore my favorite fall fashion trends, and I did that while using the new cash back site, Splender, which was easy to sign up for, had all my favorite stores and a decent percentage of cash back on my purchases. Check out my finds! You should also try to get the feel of polyester to determine if this is the kind of fabric you want your outfits to be made of.

 

This fall there is a ton of texture coming at us.  Whether you are in love with suede, velvet or brocade it mixes well with the knits and 70’s vibe that has a gypsy feel to it. Trust me, it will be everywhere. I picked up this knit ASOS dress by Glamorous. It has the popular jewel tones that looks modern with suede ankle booties and a large pendant.  Did I mention that Splender gave me 4% cash back on my ASOS purchase?  So I bought more.
ASOS Skater Dress with Pussy Bow ASOSskaterdresswpussybow The Pussy Bow is sticking around another year.  I, for one, think it’s the cats pajamas.  This dress is a perfect fall transition piece.  Pair it with open-toe booties now or when it is cooler wear it with opaque tights.  Throw on a blazer or long boyfriend cardigan and you have a polished day look or weekend wear in one simple dress. And more cash back!

Cognac might be one of the biggest trends this fall.  I fell in love with this BP Vegan Leather Crossbody bag during the Nordstrom sale last month.  It’s the perfect size and works well with so many looks.  Splender gave me 8% cash back on it too, making the deal even sweeter. Finally, I hit up J. Crew Factory for this versatile faux tortoise-shell statement necklace. I can wear it with a basic button down, over a crew neck sweater or turtleneck (yes, those are making a comeback this fall & winter) and so many other outfits. I cannot wait!  The 2% cash back from Splender wasn’t bad either.  So, what is Splender and how does it work?  Simply put, it is a cash back website that is super easy to use. I typed in the store I wanted to shop (over 800+ stores!) and it gave me the cash back percentage number and some deals to choose from and then it lead me to the store’s own website.  From there I shopped until I was done. My purchase gives Splender a commission which it then gives me a percentage of as my cash back.  Minutes after my purchase was complete an email arrived from Splender telling me what my cash back amount was from the store.  Bonus: you can stack cash back, coupons,  and offers to increase your savings say, 15% off sale + extra 30% off coupon + 5% cash back = big savings.    There’s nothing to it but money back into your pocket.  And that’s something that never goes out of style.

    As much as I hate to see summer drawing to a close, I love fall clothes! That is a gorgeous dress in the first pic (well, they are both gorgeous, but my fav is the first one). I really like everything that will be ‘in’ this year. The colors and textures are so beautiful!
