Sometimes you just have to sparkle and shine. Even when you initially wanted to wear a jumpsuit.That was the case for me last week when I used Rent the Runway for the 30th Annual WAPA Gala. Then two days before they event RtR emailed me to tell me my jumpsuit was damaged. Would I like something else? Absolutely! Except there wasn’t anything but the Maria dress by Badgley Mischka available.
I think it turned out alright, don’t you think? I scrambled for last minute silver shoes that weren’t strappy sandals and found them on Amazon for a steal!
I felt a little like Claire Underwood from House of Cards in this dress.
