Refresh & Renew Because I Have To

It’s no longer a secret that I have been busy overhauling our house.  It was like “OVERHAUL OUR LIFE” in a way.  I cleaned out so much and found many unused products.  A few came in and made the cut and here are my favorite keepers that I have been using to refresh myself and feel renewed through this whole house overhaul process.

Cloth masks are new to me.  I have been curious about them but didn’t want to spend the $99 for six masks that SK-II and other brands were asking of me.  The BioRepublic Skincare masks are $6.95 a piece or $24.95 for a six pack.  I dig the four pack.  There is a mask for every skincare need in one complete set.  All are free of parabens, sulfates and never tested on animals.

Pomegranate Crush Illuminating Mask brightens skin while evening out my skin tone.  It’s great for the middle of winter when skin can look dull.  The Cucumber Breeze Soothing Mask helps tighten my pores and make fine lines less apparent.  I like it as a regular weekly indulgence.  The Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Mask soothes dry skin and is great for post-sun needs.  Green Tea Detox Purifying Mask offers balance to imperfect skin, which mine has been lately with all this house stuff.  What I like most is that using a cloth mask is giving your skin a giant dose of nourishment and moisturizing that it can’t get anywhere else.  It is super potent and results are more evident.

I cannot tell a lie. I am a certified CVS junkie.  I worked there as one of my first jobs ever, manning the register and restocking the cosmetics and hair care aisles.

The latest edition to their Essence of Beauty collection is the NEW Naturally Indulgent Bath & Body Collection.  I like it a lot! The scents are wonderful and the formulas are plant-based extracts with essential oils.  There is no gluten, parabens, phthalates or petrolatum in the products either.  Each scent has a Hand Cream, Body Butter, Sugar Scrub, Botanical Body Wash, Foaming Bath Soak, Nourishing Body Oil and Shea Butter Bar Soap.  I use them all daily!

  • Lemon Verbena with Olive Oil – Energizing lemon verbena and soothing olive oil refresh and stimulate your senses
  • Eucalyptus with Mint Oil – Soothing eucalyptus and spearmint oil cool and refresh your body
  • Lavender with Rosemary Oil – Soft, calming lavender and rejuvenating rosemary oil relax your mind and body

Plus, you can’t beat the price $5.99-$9.99 for the products. Stocking stuffers will be had!

Do you have a weekly beauty or at-home spa ritual?  What products do you like to use?
