Beauty Love of the Week- Jason Naturals

I’m always trying to find new products that help us continue to live green, work with our budget and actually work. I’ve been using Jason Naturals for a few years, ever since they landed on the shelves at my local grocery store in 2007, and I continue to go back to them. The company has been perfecting the art of natural skin, hair, sun and oral care since 1959, after all. I love that the lotions and creams are paraben free, there are no artificial colors or dyes or perfumes either. It’s a good business and some of our favorite products are right here.

JasonCollage

The Apricot Scrubble is my all-time favorite. It reminds me of the big tub I used to use as a teenager when I worked at CVS and stocked the beauty aisle. The Jason scrub is rougher than some, but it works. If you have sensitive skin I wouldn’t use it on your face. I rub it slowly and gently on my face and use it to scrub my whole body once a week too. It smells lightly of apricots and exfoliates really well while being soap-free. Yeah to walnuts and their super scrubbing power!

The Anti-Aging Tea Time Moisturizing Crème is quite soft and fluffy and a little goes a long way. It’s not greasy and absorbs into your skin fast.   I love using it right after showering and shaving my legs.  I know it is supposed to be a crème for the face but I couldn’t resist using it all over.  It’s full of anti-oxidants like Green Tea, Pro-Vitamin A, C and E  to fight free radical damage and promote skin renewal.  My skin always feels super soft afterwards.  I just burn through a container faster when I use it this way.

I hadn’t tried the Thin to Thick Extra Volume Shampoo ($11.20) until it was sent to me and now I’m in love with its silky but thick texture that does add some needed oomph to my hair while being all natural.  Such a change of pace from many organic shampoos!  There is a conditioner to match that works just as well and I like that there isn’t a strong scent to either one.

Do you use Jason Naturals or other green beauty products?  What is your favorite or do you want to try?

My skin can be sensitive sometimes. I usually find something that won’t make me break out and is super hydrating and I stick with that. I get scared to try anything else. I love that these products are all natural! I might have to try these. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve only used the aloe vera gel from JASON, but now I have to try a few other ones. I always try to buy as natural as possible, unfortunately here in Spain, the alternatives are very expensive or non-existent. I try to buy online though, and my favorite brand I think is 100% Pure Cosmetics… They smell so good!
