Whatcha Wearing Wednesday- New Attitude

Welcome to Whatcha Wearing Wednesday!  I’m really excited that you have popped over my little corner and decided to show off your look, link up and join others for some fashionable inspiration. Let’s go!

Back in December I had made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t buy anymore clothes until February. Cue ominious music, please. Possibly even March, if I could hold out that long.  Except, who am I kidding? I’m going away with H for a few days in some warm sunshine at the end of February. The temptation to find a cute dress is too strong. Plus, I’m dying for a pair of pink ankle pants to welcome in spring and what better way to do that than during that trip?

Skipping back to today, I’ve followed through.  No shoes, no accessories, no purses, nada. It was easy at first when I still had some fun items from Christmas.  The gray, rainy days of January have made me positively itchy though. I look at my closet and it feels disorganized and deadly boring.  I know that if I spend some time in there and dig and tidy it up that isn’t the case but I don’t have the motivation or time.

Speaking of which, things are changing around here. When this type of photo is all I have time for on these posts.

Changes must be made.

Instead of feeling bad that I don’t have the time, talent or people to assist me in taking gorgeous fashion photos I’m going to show you what I wore in a different way.  I “pin” my closet all the time to help me figure out daily outfits and this is just an extension of what I’m already doing.

Easy Tuesday Style

I wore this look yesterday after feeling like the gray January weather with always impending rain was just getting to me.  The vibrant red added a cheerful note to the day that I felt was needed in a sea of dark winter tones and coats.

Cheers & Happy Wednesday!

Bright colors are so perfect for these dreary winter days! So I really like those pants.

It really is so hard to get a picture taken…especially when there’s no one available to help. I know that a lot of people get a tripod and remote control…it sounds tricky, but I think do able!!

Thanks Ashley! I really need to find a pair of pink pants too! I’m OBSESSED!! You know I have a tripod and remote and I just don’t make the time from work and everything else to even figure it all out. Sad, but true. I should dig it all back out. 🙂

I just saw online that Target has some pink ankle pants, along with Lands End and JCPennys . . . just saying 🙂

Ash! You know those Target ones are already in my online cart! But it isn’t February yet!!! It’s killing me because they are $11!

Buy them now! They might sell out before February. Then you will probably have to spend more to find them somewhere else. 🙂 (Yes I’m an enabler).

I love this tunic!! Super cute! And I agree about bright pants. I was obsessed about finding a pair of cobalt ones last spring! I found a pair and wore them daily. Maybe I will jump on the pink bandwagon with you! Let me know if you find any!! Susan
