This week has been a fashion disaster for me. Too many errands to run in 110-degree heat — with no air conditioning in many places — in a conservative city where anything above-the-knee practically makes you a porn star. I even broke out the unflattering Mom-capris today for a trip to the vet, since that is always a messy time and I didn’t want to get pet funk on anything nicer.
You are looking good! I can’t wait to be back in the land of short shorts. All the wonderful muscle tone I’m gaining from running up and down hills is completely wasted here.
Thank you! You can run hills with me here anytime! That combined with HIIT and ME, plus trying to get 4 workouts in a week has made me a bit of a fiend. Having to cut out gluten is another one. Which I both love and loathe.
I’ve been gluten-free for 10 years now. It gets easier. Except for the days when it doesn’t.
Exactly. It will be a year in June/July. I am fine most of the time but then some days (like Mother’s Day when the girls got me a dozen gluten-filled cupcakes) I do it. I still feel sick today. Back on the wagon.
